New flyer to Identify Dangerous Drugs
ORIC has put together a new flyer to help you identify if the drug you are planning to use in your research may be considered a "dangerous drug" per the state regulations. This term refers to drugs bought via a prescription or in a list that the Georgia Board of Pharmacy has in their website. Read the flyer to learn more!

EHSO has a new process to the proper destruction of controlled substances. In order to get this service, you need to register and receive training to learn about the process and the appropriate completion of DEA Form 41. Learn more in the below flyer.

HHH placed Covetrus on an exclusionary supplier list. Emory Procurement has removed Covetrus as a supplier so please obtain pharmaceuticals and lab supplies from other vendors. Please see the below flyer for a list of alternative suppliers and the contact information for setting up an account.
Vendor FlyerMcKesson requiring DEA CSOS Certificate
March 31, 2025, McKesson will no longer accept paper DEA form 222s for Schedule II orders; instead, a DEA CSOS certificate and pin number will be needed to place orders. Contact ORIC or Emory’s McKesson point of contact, Michael Cecelia at Michael.Cecelia@McKesson.com for assistance in setting up a CSOS account.
